Migrating business processes to Fincorex® allowed the entire CAPEX planning and reporting process to be managed within a single application. This covered all levels—from individual invoices to aggregated reports for the entire Group.
The system was integrated with the ERP Fixed Assets module, enabling automatic retrieval of actual expenditures and the application of adjustments during the mapping process. Users gained access to standardized planning forms, tailored to their assigned projects and access rights. Versioning mechanisms allowed easy comparison of different forecasts and budgets, while built-in planning rules controlled whether data entry was allowed or blocked depending on project status and attributes.
With multi-currency support within a single project, it became possible to plan expenditures in transactional currencies (e.g., USD, CHF, EUR) while presenting them in the company’s functional currency and the Group currency. All conversions were performed automatically, eliminating the need for manual calculations and significantly accelerating the reporting process.
The controlling department gained full oversight of the data, with the ability to review and filter information by company, Project Manager, or project status. At the same time, over 200 Project Managers received direct online access to up-to-date data, increasing their engagement and accountability in the planning process.
